Our People - Bill Hahn brings over 38 years of automotive experience to every project including 30 years of experience restoring investment grade vehicles. Wes Woodward's background extends over 36 years in the auto body business. Together, they represent 70 years worth of combined restoration expertise. In addition, our shop staff of dedicated, trained professionals have extensive backgrounds in fabrication, automotive paint and body work, mechanics as well as formal project management.
Our Process - Our thoroughness and attention to detail is unsurpassed! We build our restorations "by the 'Book'". This means extreme attention to engineering specifications and factory drawings (when available). For example: "Headmark Correct" is generally used to refer to the OEM manufacturer of the hardware. More importantly, headmarks denote the grade and strength of the hardware. Such as:
Grade 3 - used for body panels
Grade 5 - used for suspension and steering
Grade 8 - used for driveline components
We use correct plating on components as indicated by the factory engineering specifications.
Projects are thoroughly researched down to the finest detail. Our many years in the business have allowed us to develop an extensive library of information and establish a vast network of resources for hard to find parts and services.
We develop extensive project plans for each project. These are entered into our project planning software to assure the job is tracked and properly managed.
Our Resources - Our fully equipped shop contains all of the tooling necessary to perform full body - off restorations. If necessary, we can refurbish and/or fabricate components on site. All vehicle painting and assembly is performed in our shop by our staff. We have long established relationships with several upholstery, machine and plating shops to ensure the quality of these specialty processes is consistent.
These methods result in a truly restored vehicle that you will enjoy whether driving or showing for many years to come. We believe a car should only need to be restored ONCE and our restorations will last long enough to be passed on like a family heirloom!
