Click HERE to check it out! News Release - December 2011 The Elegance at Hershey - Bob Affleck's 1938 HRG Coupe has been invited to the 2012 Elegance at Hershey to be held June 8-10, 2012. Approximately 60 cars are selected to participate in the show. We're thrilled to have the car join such an exclusive field. News Release - October 2011 Amellia Island Concours d' Elegance - Amelia Island, FL. Bill Hahn, Wes Woodward and Paul Vorbach will accompany Bob Affleck's "One of One" 1938 HRG Coupe to the event to be held March 9-11, 2012. The Amelia Island Concours is considered the East Coast's version of Pebble Beach. We're honored and pleased to have the car invited to participate. The Butler Eagle did a feature article on the restoration of Bob Affleck's 1938 HRG Coupe!

September 16-18, 2011 - Bill Hahn, Wes Woodward and Paul Vorbach took Bob Affleck's just completed 1938 HRG Coupe to the Inaugural Goodguys Speedway Nations at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It was a fitting addition to the little car's legacy as it had originally been taken to England's Brookland's Raceway (the premier race track of its day) upon the car's completion in 1938. We had a blast at Indy. They car won the "Period Perfect" award for Best Preservation and Bill and Wes got to take it on a lap around the track....very cool! Click on the pictures to see a larger image February 17-20 2012 Pittsburgh International Auto Show - David L. Lawrence Convention Center - Pittsburgh, PA. The1938 HRG Coupe will make another appearance at the convention center. This time, we'll be part of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix display. Please stop by to say hello! RECENT EVENTS We had a great time on Sunday October 9th 2011 hosting the Inaugural Zelionople-Harmony Invitational Motor Show as part of the 27th Annual Country Fall Festival. Over 50 Antique, Classic and Special Interest vehicles from around the area were on display from noon until 4:00PM. The event was highlighted by a parade of the participating cars down Main street at 3:00PM. Thanks to everyone who participated in the event....and a very special thanks to the Hahn and Woodward team for their help in making the event a success. Also, a big thanks to our Co-sponsors; Fidelity Bank, Hovis Automotive and The Zelienople-Harmony Chamber of Commerce .
September 10 - 11, 2011 Radnor-Hunt Concours d' Elegance - Malvern, PA. Paul Vorbach accompanied car owner Bob Affleck to the Radnor-Hunt Concours d' E,egance to display the HRG Coupe at its first Concours event. Despite the constant threat of rain, the show came off without a hitch. The HRG was very well received and winning a Radnor Award in its class and taking the "Artists Award" trophy. Congratulations to Bob for winning at his first Concours! September 7 - 11, 2011 Gullwing Group Convention - The Homestead - Hot Springs, VA. Bill Hahn and his wife Helen attended the convention and hung out with a hotel full of enthusiastic owners of Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwings and Roadsters. The quality and quantity of the cars was excellent and it was great to see many old friends and make new once. Hope to see you at the next convention! Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix - Schenley Park, Pittsburgh PA. July 24th-25th 2011 Thanks to everyone who stopped by to check out the HRG Coupe (in the British Car Day exhibit). It temperatures were in the 90's but despite the heat, a nice crowd was on hand. The Coupe was awarded first place in its class and there was a crowd around the car nearly all weekend. Thanks! June 30th, 2011 - Paul Vorbach just completed a follow-up interview by Pittsburgh area radio personality and "Automotive Opinionist" - Hersch - for a Podcast on his www.talkhotrods.com web site. Pittsburgh World of Wheels - David L. Lawrence Convention Center - January 21-23 Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say "Hi" during the World of Wheels show. It was a cold and snowy weekend in "the 'burgh" but was highlighted by a big Steeler win on Sunday night.....and now we're off to the Superbowl. Our weekend was long and tiring but it was nice to renew some old friendships and make some new one's. The '46 Panel Truck took a "Best in Class" award and with three of Bill Hahn's restorations on display as part of the "Top 50" cars in Pittsburgh grouping, we were kept very busy. Here are a couple of shots from the show Click on the pictures to see a larger image Fall Open House On November 13th we held an open house at our new shop. Several friends and customer's attended and we really enjoyed showing off the place. The weather cooperated by giving us a beautiful, warm and sunny late fall day. We are going to consider holding these open houses periodically...perhaps in the spring and fall.

Click on the pictures to see a larger image Hahn and Woodward Night at the Starlite Car Cruise On Friday August 27th we will had several of our past restorations on display at the Wexford Starlite Car Cruise. Among the cars on hand were Roger McIntyre's recently restored '72 Morgan 4/4, Bill Price's '55 Chevy, Gerry Kerna's '71 GTO, Dave Frankovich's '66 GTO Convertible, and making it's show debut, Don Fezell's '46 Chevy Panel Truck. Thanks to everyone who took the time to stop by our tents , check out the cars and say "hi!". We plan to do more Starlite displays next season....watch the events page for more information We had a beautiful evening and an excellent location to display the cars. Thanks to everyone for stopping by. We appreciated it :-) AACA Founders Tour - June 10th Here are some photos taken during the AACA's visit to our shop during their "Founders Tour". We really enjoyed the opportunity to meet so many wonderful folks and fellow car enthusiasts. We had a great time and hope our guests did as well. Several of our customers were kind enough to allow us to display their restored cars. Click on the picture to see a larger image #99 Joe Hunt Special Noted car collector Larry Pfitzenmaier stopped by the shop on his way to New Hampshire from his home in Arizona to drop off some Mercedes 300SL parts. In his trailer was the famous #99 Joe Hunt Special Dirt Champ Car. The car is in excellent condition. Larry was on his way to race it in a vintage event and was kind enough to open the trailer to give us a peek. Larry pulls the cover back to reveal the famous Joe Hunt Special Dirt Champ Car. The cockpit of the car is in excellent condition (as is the entire car). The engine on the car is super clean and features unique, one-off injector stacks.
