Here is 1946 Chevy Panel Truck. This was the workhorse back in the day. These trucks came in a variety of flavors from ½ ton up to 1 ½ ton trucks. These puppies came with six cylinder motors and three speed (optional four speed) gear shifts. |

Inside of the unfinished 1946 Chevy. Looks like we have some work to do. |

Shot of the gutted cab. Do you know how much money we found under the seat? |
|
Exterior shot of the truck. Bill thought it would funny to replace the tires with plywood. He should have used stone, then we could have used it as the Flintstone buggy. |

|
Inside shot the of the rear floor. Wait, where's the floor. Silly Wes, he keeps hiding things. |
|
Bill is working on the front grill section. |

Here is what the truck looks like in one peice (he, he, he). |

Here we have the passenger side fender. In the left image, we used some filler to smooth over the roughed up fender. As you can see, we sanded much of it off. It is only meant to fill in the small nicks and scratches and not replace the metal. |

In these two photos we are fitting in the new floor for the front of the cab. It seems to fit better than my socks. |

Stripped body getting it ready to paint. |
|
Here is what the frame looks like after we lifted the body off. |

Engine and transmission are painted and ready to be bolted back onto the finished frame. |

Below are some images of the finished paint. |
