This 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing is in the process of having a full body-off restoration performed. After getting the body back from being alkaline dipped, we replaced a number of bent frame tubes to square up the chassis and are now in the middle of replacing sections of the body with new sheet metal. It is a long and tedious process.
