1965 Mercedes-Benz 230SL Convertible

This 1965 Mercedes-Benz 230SL belongs to one of our 300SL Gullwing customers. He has owned this car since he bought it new in 1965 and it's his pride and joy. It is in the process of being dismantled in preparation for an extensive restoration. The paint was stripped from the car to uncover any rust. All of the rust was repaired. The car was primed and painted and is awaiting an interior, engine and drive train. The rebuild of the engine is nearly complete and we expect to have it back for final assembly within days. Once the engine is ready to go and is back in the car, we will be able to make steady progress on the final build-up.
